I had my session today with Avion and can I just begin by saying WOW what a beyond incredible experience!! 
From the moment I walked in, to even right now as I write this; I’ve been on cloud 9. I did this experience 100% for me. After giving and giving to those around me, I wanted to take a step back and give back to my self. I felt so beautiful and empowered. 
I cried after my session because I saw my self in a new light today and how beautiful I am on the inside and out. And I hope that’s how I’m perceived by others as well.

For me doing this photo shoot was so empowering and a reminder that I am beautiful and I need to love myself every single day!! I was unhappily married for years and was stuck. I finally made the jump and decided to leave. He made me feel like I couldn’t do it without him and made it very hard. After having no affection for years I didn’t feel attractive or wanted. I thought no man would ever want me. I decided to do this for me and no one else. I don’t need anyone to prove to me my own self worth. In the end I am the only one that will show up for me every day. These pictures remind me how strong and beautiful I am. Invest in yourself 
I had an amazing brand/boudoir shoot today with Avion McNab Robinson ! I found it very empowering and surprisingly comfortable (for the most part lol). Avion has created such a beautiful space to heal from body issues and sexual abuse. I'm so grateful I know you and for all the important work you are doing. If you are wanting a photo session to embrace your body and sexuality I totally recommend her and her amazing team
I’ve taken the opportunity in my past to use different photo shoots almost as therapy to see my body in a more positive light and document my journey. But none of them compared to the healing I’d get when I looked at the pictures from my shoot with Avion.
I’d finally come out to my family and social media as Pansexual/Queer and announced my faith transition from the faith I was raised in. I was finally living my truth 100%! I was also super super sick with gallstones during my shoot and kinda felt like I was falling apart health wise.
But when i opened the folder one of my first thoughts was: “I look COMPLETE!” I’m not sitting and picking the pictures apart trying to find the few things I like about myself... I see all of me and I LOVE it! It helped me validate myself. It helped to quiet those extra negative voices that quite often pop in my head. It gave me the strength I needed to push through the next month until I could have surgery and now I feel so much better 
This shoot also showed me the power of manifesting good things and opportunities to help build your path! It helped me take a breath and thank myself for putting in the work needed.

Emily was amazing and sat and listened to my story and glammed me up! The makeup and hair were 17/10 
Avion is an amazing hype woman and makes you feel gorgeous, confident, and comfortable. But she’ll also push you if you let her!
thank you Avion for the amazing photo book that you created for me. I have never done boudoir or any other type of photo shoot before. I am so happy that I finally came out of my sheltered little life and took the opportunity to do this. This year has proven to be difficult for me. I had lost my confidence, my ambition, my drive and the ability to see myself as a beautiful woman. Thanks to you I have finally gotten to see that I am beautiful and powerful and strong. This is exactly what I needed to start healing and believing in myself again. Thank you so very much for doing this and making me feel comfy in my skin once again. 
I DID IT! Yep, I did. This was so far out of my comfort zone but I did it! I never ever thought I would. Thank you Avion and AnDi Duffin for making this experience so easy for me. 
When I was younger, I was fascinated by the Victoria's Secret Angels. Not because they were skinny or "perfect" but I loved the glitz and glam. The beautiful lingerie. The confidence that they held as they walked the runways. I have been 5'10 and at least a C cup since I was 13. When I was 15, my mom took me to a modeling agency (I think she did it to just shut me up 
). I was often told "Your legs are so long, you could be a model". After walking in heels and doing a few shots, the agent said to me, "Don't get me wrong, you are beautiful. But you are too "big-boned" to ever be a runway model. And unfortunately, you aren't photogenic enough to be in print". I left there, holding back my tears till I got home in the safety of my bedroom. I am certain that was the day that my confidence was crushed and my body issues began.

When my husband came in he asked was wrong. I looked up to him and with all of the confidence in the world said, "Tomorrow, I finally get my wings".

I was able to completely release old thoughts and ideas and replace them with positive, loving, confident, powerful beautiful feelings about myself...embracing my body image and identity.

I had my shoot today . It was nothing short of amazing . Andi did my hair and make up, made me feel like a movie star, and Avion well she is phenomenal. I was so nervous going outside of my box. They made me feel like I was right at home, and gave me the confidence I was lacking. I also left with two new friends. I have no idea what my photos look like, but I left feeling like a brand new confident woman . Thank you ladies .. best day ever . Book your session ! These ladies do not disappoint. Figuring out now when to do a second session perhaps with my hubby .
When I did my first boudoir shoot years and years and years ago, it was less than great. It was my first one, the photographer was awkward, but more importantly I was awkward with myself. I was desperately TRYING to look sexy in front of the camera....and that’s how it came off; desperate.
I didn’t love myself. I didn’t have the self respect for myself. I wasn’t confident in my body. I didn’t own the beautiful woman I was, curves and all.
How blessed I feel to have Avion capture me in a completely different light. In front of the camera with her, I feel confident and beautiful. I feel so alive and so ME! Doing boudoir shoots again were scary for me due to my first experience but she made it SO worth it! 
I am in love with the photo's from my session!
I've never felt fully comfortable with my body, there's always been something I could find wrong. I can't do that when I look at these photo's. When I look at these photo's I see a strong empowered woman. This session has given me the confidence that I've been needing in my life.
